Hi to all club members.

As the dust has just about settled on TRIBFEST & TRIBKIDS 2026, Just a note of appreciation from the orgainsing committe to all club members who volunteered this year to make this years 4 day event probably  "The best event anyone has ever seen ".

As always there was a serious committment from all sections in the set up and takedown of the festival site,  which takes considerable physical effort,  and volunteering during the 4 days to make it such an enjoyable event for our generous patrons.  The secure facilities on site for everyone portrayed the club and its members in a positive light and a place where all are welcome.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday showed a significant incresase in attendance year on year, but the icing on the cake was the fabulous success of the Monday TRIBKIDS event for families , which was what we wanted to create. The attendance far exceeded our expectations when we set about planning it, so thank you everyone. As a result the organising committe has decided to make a significant contribution to the Barrettstown Childrens Charity. We will publish more details about this when arranged.

A thank you barbecue for volunteers will be held in the club on Friday August 28th, so all volunteers can expect an email invitation next week which you must RSVP,  to ensure we cater for everyone.

I feel special mention must be given to our CE scheme team led by Anne Murtagh and Pat Brady who far exceeded what is expected from them, not just for this event, but every week in keeping our club looking so well.

If you have contributed through the sale of tickets please return all unsold tikets and sales proceeds ASAP so we can report the full event  results to the club executive by the end of August.

Once again, a sincere thank you to everyone from all members of  the organising committe. Your generosity of time and committment is truly appreciated.
